Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST) implements double degree programs in collaboration with selected partner universities. These programs provide students with a dual-cultural education, often combined with mandatory industry internships. Graduates receive two diplomas from prestigious institutions, enhancing their employment prospects in renowned companies in the international job market. Participation in these programs should be seen as a comprehensive investment in their future careers.
A significant number of these agreements have been signed due to WUST's membership in the T.I.M.E. Association (Top International Managers in Engineering).

The T.I.M.E. Association - Top International Managers in Engineering - is an international network of leading Higher Education Institutions providing education and training in engineering and related fields, at the graduate level (Master).
Through bilateral agreements between T.I.M.E. members, the best engineering students are offered a unique opportunity to study for a substantial period of time in another partner institution to gain further academic and professional experience in conjunction with in-depth cultural and linguistic exposure.
The study programme of a student participating in the double degree programme is prepared individually prior to his/her departure and approved by the dean (the dean's consent to departure is a required document from the student).
The period of study at two universities can be prolonged because the student has to fulfil the requirements of both universities to obtain two diplomas (double degree).
On completion of their studies, T.I.M.E. graduates are high-quality, international engineers and managers with:
I studied at Ecole Centrale Lyon thanks to a signed agreement with Wrocław University of Science and Technology. When it comes to my career, the T.I.M.E. program had a significant impact. For the past five years, I have been working in a large French corporation near Nice. When searching for my first job in France, I was able to include one of the best French universities, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, on my CV. It is one of the few Grandes Ecoles in France. I am confident that participating in the double degree program was a factor that facilitated my job search.
The exchange also allowed me to complete a six-month internship, which was mandatory during the final year of my studies at ECL. So, in addition to graduating from the university, I already had significant professional experience. Since returning from France, I have gained solid international experience, and I see that many companies are interested in my profile.
Paweł Rzewnicki (Faculty of Management, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Ecole Centrale Lyon)
I participated in the double degree program, and I highly recommend such an experience. I am happy that I was able to complete the programme and obtain two diplomas because it is true that the level of education at Ecoles Centrales is very high. I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the T.I.M.E. program. It was an incredible experience that opened up a range of new career possibilities for me.

One year ago, I finished a two-year experience in Poland as a regular student thanks to the T.I.M.E. Program. It allowed me to obtain what is called a "double diploma," meaning two master's degrees: one from one of the best engineering schools in France, Ecole Centrale de Lille, and the other from one of the best technical universities in Poland, Politechnika Wrocławska.
On a professional level, this double diploma didn't help me in finding a job, as the French companies I applied to were more interested in the French engineering diploma than the Polish ones. There are several reasons for this: Central and Eastern Europe are not well-known for their universities in France, and the jobs I applied for didn't require extensive international skills. I applied for a few positions that required international skills but didn't receive many responses. I believe the T.I.M.E. Program could improve by creating post-diploma support that could connect students and companies looking for top industrial managers in engineering. I would still be very interested in that kind of mobility.
Vincent Jolivet (Ecole Centrale Lille, Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Wrocław University of Science and Technology)
It was definitely the best decision I could make while studying at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The studies at Politecnico di Milano were incredible, and the approach of professors and students towards learning is different than in Poland. PoliMi is one of the best university in Italy and ranks highly worldwide, which is noticeable because people I meet are usually impressed and congratulate me on completing those studies. The T.I.M.E. Double Diploma program helped me carry out my master's thesis at an institute in Oslo and ultimately find a job in Denmark. In fact, I wasn't even actively searching for a job as the employer approached me. However, the greatest benefit for me was on a personal level. Living abroad changed me, and there were difficult moments that helped shape my character, but there were also very positive moments. PoliMi gave me lifelong friendships with amazing people from many different countries.
In summary, whoever goes abroad will benefit both professionally and personally, all while having a great time in such a wonderful city like Milan.
