Unfortunately, there is no possibility to choose the dormitory. International Relations Office will assign you a place according to availability of places in dorm.
There are double and triple rooms available for exchange students. There are also single rooms accessible for people with disabilities. Due to current restrictions, only two students can be accommodated in triple rooms.
When taking part in studies recruitment process, places are allocated within the reserve for foreign applicants. To apply for a place in a dormitory, you need to fill out an application for dormitory via the IRC system. You will be informed about procedure June/July for students comming in winter/whole avademic year and December/January for students comming in spring semester.
Later, accommodation in student dormitories is supervised by the Department of Social Assistance for Students and PhD Students.
Every year, all students receive a message with instructions and an application schedule via the Edukacja.CL portal. Failure to meet the deadline may result in the inability to receive a place for another year.
For this reason, we strongly encourage you to regularly check the received messages at the student e-mail.
During check-in you can ask to be accommodated together with your preferred roommate, if you are both assigned to the same dormitory. Always ensure that you consult it with the dormitory manager.
The price of the double room in the dormitory ranges from approx. PLN 440-600/month (around EUR 122-150), paid before 15th day of each month.

Dormitories T-15,T-17,T-19,T-22: PLN 490 + cost of electricity and water.
Average cost of bills is PLN 70-150 (electricity, water) depending on your monthly usage.
Internet is included in dormitory price.
You have to bring your own cooking pots, plates, cutlery and bedding items.
Check-in is usually allowed more or less one week before the start of each semester. Normally students check-in from 8:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. Unfortunately, all students arriving later than 15:00 p.m. will have to spend the night in a hostel and wait until the next working day to be admitted. In the IRC system on the website of the International Relations Office, you can find the list with hotels/hostels located near the dormitories and close to the city centre.
The deposit amounts to PLN 400 (approx. EUR 100) to be paid by credit card upon check-in at the dorm.
Payment made earlier by bank transfer is also accepted. Account number: 03 1090 2402 0000 0001 3128 5288. Transfer title should contain following information: Name and surname, student ID number, deposit number the dormitory.
If you transfer the deposit, please take the confirmation of the payment with you and present it to the manager of the dormitory upon check-in.
The equipment of the module / room depends on the location of the dormitory:
In T-4, T-6, T-2 student dormitories - there is a fridge in the room, while the kitchen and bathroom are in the corridor, and the laundry and drying room are in the basement.
In the T-15, T-17, T-19 and T-22 student dormitories, each module is equipped with its own refrigerator and bathroom. On the floors there is a laundry, drying room and a kitchen. The exception is the T-17 residence hall, where the laundry - drying room are located in the basement (it costs PLN 2.40 for the first hour and PLN 0.04 for each extra minute.
To be allowed to use the laundry rooms, a student has to get their student ID card registered by the manager of the dormitory. Then, the student will receive on their WUST e-mail: login, password to laundry room and link to the website to log in.
Yes, dormitories offer single rooms for people with disabilities. Each dormitory is also equipped with an elevator.
The exceptions are the T-2 and T-4 dormitories, which are not adapted to the needs of disabled people.
Unfortunately there is no baggage storage in the dormitory.

Take the bus no. 106 from the Airport to the last bus stop “DWORCOWA” near Wrocław main railway station. Take the bus no. 146/145 from “Dworzec Główny/Dworcowa” bus stop (direction – Bartoszowice/Sępolno). The final tram stop “Tramwajowa” is on Wróblewskiego Street near dormitory T-18. Walk from “Tramwajowa” tram stop to buildings T-15/T-16/T17, takes about 4 minutes.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a total ban on bringing third persons into dormitories and guest rooms under pain of immediate disciplinary eviction was imposed.
Students are responsible for cleanliness in a module. They should buy their own cleaning products.
Students are not allowed to keep pets in the dormitory.
Students can decorate the room as long as they don’t do that in a way that is destructive to walls, ceiling, or furniture (drilling, strong tape on the walls, etc.). Residents are not allowed to paint walls without the dormitory manager’s permission. Dormitory can impose a penalty payment for marks left by duct tape, glue or tacks.
A dormitory manager may take any appropriate course of action to stop or prevent violating dormitory rules. In case of notorious violations, a dormitory manager in agreement with Director of Student Dormitories, has the right to evict the student or deny the student's right to stay in a dormitory in subsequent years.
Each semester we inform you about the latest check-out date. For students staying in the dormitory during the winter semester, normally it is one week before the start of the summer semester. In summer semester it’s one day after the end of the exam session.
Student willing to take up a place in a dormitory is obliged to sign an accommodation agreement, which can be terminated with one month’s notice.

A lot of students choose to stay in a dormitory because of the distance from University, possibility to meet other students and low costs. Most of them live in a dormitory for a long time: few semesters or even for the whole duration of their studies.
Many students stay in the dormitories during the weekend, because their home towns are far away from Wrocław. They used to organise different activities to spend time together and make new friends. Now, due to pandemic, there it’s impossible to organise common activities or meetings.
One of the most popular shops “Biedronka” is a short distance away from the dormitories. There you can buy food and all other necessary things in good prices. There are also some restaurants and cafes nearby (in the current situation take-away only).
There is a car park just in front of the main entrance to the dormitory. It is available for students living in the dorm. Currently, there is no fees for using the car park.

Yes, dormitories are equipped with a lift inside(except dormitories T2 and T4). Some of the dormitories have outside lifts as well. Outside lifts can be used only by students with disabilities.
Yes, the international student organisation ESN (Erasmus Student Network) is located in the T-15 dormitory. The organisation supports international students and organises a wide range of events them. Unfortunately, during pandemic the possibility to organise activities for students is limited.

First of all, students are accommodated in double rooms. Two people can use the elevator at the same time and people living on levels 1-4 should use the staircase only (except for people with disabilities and luggage transport). Students should minimize visits to other students/doctoral students accommodated in a given dormitory. Inhabitants are obligated to wear masks in common space and administration of the building is obligated to organize the disinfection of surfaces as elevator buttons, handrails etc. at least twice a day.

Yes, but there are some limits. It is forbidden to keep more than 2 litres of alcoholic beverages containing 10% of alcohol or stronger, as well as, more than 5 litres of alcoholic beverages containing less than 10% of alcohol in rooms, units, or common areas.
No, it’s forbidden to smoke or use anything that emits smoke in the dormitory building. It’s also forbidden to interfere with the fire safety system by covering it by film, paper etc. For covering the smoke detector or any actions interfering with the fire safety system a PLN 240 penalty fee is inflicted.
