The new edition of the Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027) offers new opportunities for international mobilities for students and PhD students:

  1. Short-term mobilities for studies/internships
  2. Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)

REGULATIONS

SHORT-TERM MOBILITIES FOR STUDIES

BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAMMES (BIP)
  • Participants: students/PhD students who cannot take part in long-term mobilities may decide to go for a short-term mobility
  • Mobilities are available only to universities that belong to the Unite! Network
  • Duration: 5 – 30 days
  • Grant: 5 – 14 days – 79 EUR/day, from 15 to 30 days – 59 EUR/day
  • Short-term mobilities:
    • For 1st and 2nd cycle degree studies the virtual component is obligatory
    • For PhD students, the virtual component is not obligatory
  • Participants: students/PhD students
  • Duration: 5 – 30 days
  • Grant: 5 – 14 days – 79 EUR/day; grant for max. 14 days
  • The virtual component is obligatory for all participants (min/max duration is not determined)
  • Participation in the BIP must result in gaining at least 3 ECTS credits
SHORT-TERM TRAINEESHIPS
  • Participants: only PhD students
  • Duration: 5 - 30 days
  • Grant: 5 – 14 days – 79 EUR/day; from 15th to 30th day – 59 EUR/day
  • The virtual component is not obligatory (min/max duration of the virtual component is not determined)

Each participant qualified for the mobility (student, PhD student, and in the case of internships also “recent graduate”) is eligible to a grant:

  • Grant: 5 – 14 days: 79 EUR/day, from 15th to 30th day – 59 EUR/day
  • Supplementary grant to individual support for using green transportation means, so-called “green travel”: when you travel using low-emission transportation means, such as a coach, train or shared use of a passenger car. The participant gets a lump sum added to the individual support in the amount of 50 EUR. More information about “Green Travel
  • Supplementary grant to the individual support for participants with lower chances. Participant of short-term mobility that meets the criteria of a “person with fewer opportunities”, when travelling for studies obtains a supplement to his/her individual support in the amount of 100 EUR for mobilities from 5 to 14 days and 150 EUR for mobilities between 15 to 30 days long
  • People with fewer opportunities are also entitled to a lump sum grant for travel costs, the amount of which depends on the distance, on the same principles as employees. The amount of the grant depends on the distance between Wrocław (the travel starting point) and the destination, as well as on the choice of transportation means. To calculate the amount of the grant for two-way travel, the one-way distance is taken into account. The IRO will use the distance calculator designed by the European Commission and made available on the Erasmus+ programme website

The definition of “people with fewer opportunities” encompasses:

  • People with disabilities: the qualification will made based on the disability certificate
  • People from poor backgrounds: the qualification will be made based on the decision of awarding a social grant.

The document on the basis of which you will be qualified for this group will be needed on the day of signing the agreement

The participant is entitled to receive the grant solely for the period of real stay abroad which will be confirmed by the document containing the transcript, attendance certificate, or a separate document issued by the receiving institution after the mobility. Participants are not entitled to the grant for the period of virtual mobility

Recruitment and required documents:

RECRUITMENT:

  • Recruitment for short-term mobilities is run on a continuous basis until the funds are exhausted
  • Applications are managed on a “first come – first served” basis but in the case of courses with a limited number of participants, the average of grades will be decisive
  • Documents should be submitted via the IRC system no later than one month before the planned start of the mobility
  • Documents for internships

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO QUALIFY FOR THE MOBILITY

  • For short-term BIP and study mobilities, a nomination by the Faculty Coordinator is required
  • The remaining documents needed are the same as for long-term study and internship mobilities
  • Documents must be submitted no later than 2 weeks before the planned start of the mobility; if the documents, including the financial agreement, are not submitted before the mobility, the grant will not be paid
  • The final decision on awarding the grant is made by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, based on the funds available

After receiving the list of persons qualified for short-term mobilities from the Faculty Coordinator, the International Relations Office creates accounts in the IRC system, where documents required for the mobility are available. These include:

  • Application form
  • Learning Agreement
  • Submission of personal data
  • Dean’s permission
