All Erasmus+ grant holders (studies or traineeships) have the opportunity to take a language proficiency test before mobility and participate in online language courses on the EU Academy platform
The OLS system was developed for Erasmus+ participants to help them improve the language skills needed to practice as students abroad.
Students going abroad in the frame of the Erasmus+ programme can use the OLS system to confirm their language experience, which can be used during studies or traineeships, and provide access to a signed language learning certificate.
This assessment of language knowledge before departure is additional and allows students to participate in a programme lasting at least 14 days. The idea is to establish that they have mastered ten languages on the device recommended by the administrator. Derogations are possible for persons distinguished as native or in justified cases. The results of the assessment do not prevent participation in the Erasmus+ programme.
Participants may have the opportunity to take language skills in online language courses before departure or while abroad. Access to Language Stages includes a wide variety of interactive features and learning features available to suit your individual needs. Participants can take part in language courses in a language available in the language support system.
Students recruited for a mobility in the Erasmus+ programme should contact their coordinator to receive an invitation to the online language support system platform.
