Free Cultural-integration events in November 2022

Do you know how does traditional Lower Silesian costume looks like? How it used to look like before the II World War? Do you know why do people make harvest wreaths? Do want to hear incredible stories about Lower Silesian traditions?

Or perhaps you would like to soak into organ music in the hall with top quality acoustics?

If you are inspired by the above questions, you are welcome to join our fee-cultural-integration events for students in November 2022. We have planned two events for students of WUST:

1) Tuesday 8th November 2022 at 14.00 Ethnographic Museum, ul. Generała Romualda Traugutta 111/113 Wrocław. Permanent and temporary exhibitions "The Harvest Festival. Social Affair". Guided tour in English. Duration: 1,5 hours. Intagration part after (non-obligatory). 
2) Wednesday 16th November 2022 at 19.30, Tomasz Nowak's Organ Recital, the National Forum of Music. Duration: approx. 2h. Non-obligatory integration part afterwards TBC. 

We offer free of charge:

  • tickets (museum, concert)
  • English guide (museum)
  • opportunity to meet other students from different countries, including Poland

Registration extended till November 6th (Sunday).

Events organized within ‘The International Centre of Wrocław University of Science and Technology – University Open to New Cultures’ project. The Project has been financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange under the Welcome to Poland Programme (2020). 

Whom for?

International and Polish students of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology including mobility students (eg. Erasmus Plus) as well as PhD students. Does not apply to students of Polish and English language course.
The organizer reserves the right to select participants to improve the integration goal.

Events are FREE (online registration and submitting paper project documents is required).

How do I register? Step by step.

  1. Read the rules of participation available here.
  2. Fill in the online Google registration form (preliminary registration). 
  3. Print out, sign and upload a scan of project documents via the Google form: Application FormDeclaration of the Project Participant, Consent to Data Processing. We accept complete and hand written documents only so make sure they are correct before submitting (hand signatures are obligatory!!!).
  4. Wait for an e-mail from Ms. Kurdys with a confirmation that you have been enrolled.
