Office for Development of Staff Mobility and Academic Cooperation

1) Support of the process of achieving Wrocław Tech goals in the international arena;
2) Establishing and implementing partnerships at the University level to build a networking platform for the benefit of research staff, teaching staff and students;
3) Supporting organization of ointernational business trips of the University's employees in terms of:
a) booking and purchasing tickets for international transportation, cooperation with carriers of international communication,
b) completing the formalities for obtaining a visa,
c) reporting the outgoing to insurance,
d) providing information on accommodation and dues due to the employee for business travel;
4) Handling foreign visitors in terms of:
a) issuing invitations needed to obtain a visa,
b) preparation of programs for visits of foreign guests in cooperation with the authorities, departments and other organizational units/units of the University, including the organization of meetings, transportation, cultural and catering offerings,
c) support the units and organizational units of the University in the organization of the Inauguration of the Academic Year and the Feast of the University of Technology and other events at the request of the University authorities,
d) assistance in finding and booking accommodation;
5) Organization of training stays (e.g. International Staff Training Week) and other international events to promote the Wrocław Tech internationally, organized on behalf of the University authorities;
6) Administrative and financial handling of staff exchanges, departures and arrivals, under the ERASMUS+ KA 131 and KA 171 programs;
7) Coordination and administrative support of incoming trips under the Visiting Professors program in cooperation with the Program Coordinator at the University and the Wrocław Academic Center;
8) Keeping records of foreigners employed under Visiting Professors;
9) Support of academic staff in the search for partners for the implementation of grants and research projects;
10) Records of foreign business trips and insurance of administrative and academic employees, based on information provided by departments and other organizational units/cells of the University through the foreign business trip order;
11) Records of arrivals and results of visits of guests and foreign interns, provided by departments and other organizational units/cells of the University;
12) Coordination and support of the process of concluding agreements on international cooperation at the level of departments and the University (contact with the parties to the agreement and ensure the proper circulation ofm documentation);
13) Maintaining and updating the database, concerning international cooperation agreements;
14) Preparation of reports on international cooperation and agreements concluded with the National Agency for Academic Exchange;
15) Search for and implementation of programs and grants supporting international cooperation and support of the University's organizational units/departments in the application process;
16) Updating the content on the Center's website regarding the handling of staff trips and foreign visitors.
