"Fracture Structures: Material Stress Resistance” on-campus summer school in Riga

This summer school is created by joint efforts of Riga Technical University (Latvia), Dresden University of Technology (Germany), Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland), and Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Poland) and received financial support from T.I.M.E. Association (Top International Managers in Engineering).

 

The Summer School Fracture Structures: Material Stress Resistance is an interactive, practical approach-based course that will keep an in-depth focus on material durability, their resistance to cracks, and empirically determine the effect of different coatings on the strength properties of materials. During the summer school, participants will have lectures and practical classes that will make it possible to compare the endurance of different types of materials.

 

All students who are concerned to apply for this summer school are asked to submit their application 

 

The application is open till 15.05.2022

 

Please note that 5 students from each institution will be selected to join summer school at Riga Technical University.

 

The summer school will be held in July (18.07-29.07.2022). Financial support that is provided to the summer school organizers: will cover studies, accommodation during summer school, catering (twice a working day), field trips, and excursions.
