On 27 February we welcomed foreign students starting their studies at Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the summer semester. The presentation was made by: the university authorities - Vice-Rector for Cooperation Prof. Dariusz Łydżba, representatives of the International Relations Office, the Foreign Language Department, the Library, the Students' Union, Erasmus Student Network, and the Off-Road Scientific Circle.
This semester, 180 people were recruited to full-time study, mainly English-language studies (including paid studies and NAWA scholarship). There were 176 Erasmus+ exchange students and 19 Exchange students.
In this group, we have the largest number of students from Ethiopia, and India, followed by Iraq, Tanzania, and Pakistan, representatives from Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Lebanon, the Americas (Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, USA), and also the Philippines, China, South Korea, Taiwan. The European representatives are mainly students from France, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Romania, Latvia, Finland, Austria, Georgia, Ukraine, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
