Long awaited moment of announcing the winners of the SHOT! 2023 photography contest for foreign students of Wrocław Tech has come.
31 students took part in the contest representing 16 different countries: Bangladesh, Belarus, Brasil, Canada, Philippines, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mongolia, Nepal. Palestine, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine. Thank you for submitting your works – you did great!
Today we are happy to announce the results.
Laureates chosen by the Jury and their winning photos:
- 1st place: Yevheniia Volkova (Ukraine), photo – Japanese Garden 1
- 2nd place: Ahmet Findik (Turkey), photo - Grunwaldzki
- 3rd place: Junaid Baloba (India), photo - Centennial Hall
- 3rd place: Joshua Marvin Wyrwol (Germany), photo: Rynek in Colour

Winner’s photos and other selected works will be printed out and exhibited in the following places:
- 24th April – 7th May 2023 in Świdnicka Street near the Market Square
- 15-28th May 2023 on the campus
The contest was organized by the Wrocław University of Science and Technology International Office. The exhibition of photographs is organized as part of the "International Centre of Wrocław University of Science and Technology - University Open to New Cultures" project. The project is financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the "Welcome to Poland (2020)" Programme.
