The call is open until 30 April 2024 as part of a collaboration agreement between the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) and Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).

Fellowships will be awarded in three priority areas for Unite! Research areas:
Energy conversion and storage (photovoltaics, wind, batteries, and hydrogen), Artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0.
Other research areas are also eligible for funding.

The research work giving rise to the grants should be carried out in whole or in part at ULisboa and involve any other institution as part of the strengthening of institutional collaboration.

The grants will be funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) under the FCT-UNITE protocol.

All application procedures, including application, evaluation, announcement of results, preliminary hearings, claims, and appeals, take place exclusively online.
